Our APU in Crowthorne, when a barrel was tapped too soon, creating a roof-high fountain of beer over the back yard and soaking many guests. Both Tony and Gill got wet, but Gill was truly drenched. They fell about laughing, then went home to wash and change, returning in remarkably high spirits to party on throughout the evening. What lovely friends, always fun and game for a laugh, even in a brief era of mildly competitive cooking.
